In Sligo, you can discover ancient tombs deep in the forest. In Deerpark Forest, a 3000 BC court tomb is located along one of the walking trails.
The tomb is one of Ireland's largest court tombs and exists out of a large central court. Nearby is also a stone circle,a cashel, wedge tomb and souterrain. |
