Dooney Rock is a forest right on the shore of Lough Gill. The area, which was made famous by the poet WB Yeats, provides stunning views across Lough Gill. Especially the short climb up Dooney Rock is worthwhile the effort providing you with views across the lake and towards Benbulben.
