Welcome to Honestly Farm Kitchen, a new restaurant , deli and farm shop located a stone's throw from the waterfront in Strandhill.
Honestly Farm Kitchen prides itself in serving local, seasonal, organic food that tastes great! Started by husband-and-wife team Liam and Justina Gavin, Honestly opened Ireland's first ever organic Drive Thru in 2021 in Carrick-On-Shannon and since summer 2022 in the beautiful seaside village of Strandhill.
There are two aspects to the business, the restaurant and the farm shop.
In the Honestly Farm kitchen restaurant, they serve breakfast, steaks, burgers, wings, salads and light bites, locally roasted coffee and freshly baked breads and desserts.
Offering ethical carnivore, vegetarian and vegan, free-from and kids options, there is plenty of healthy choices.
They are open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:30 am until 7:00 pm.
When you decide to Eat In, then you can choose to sit on the south-facing patio while enjoying the sun or inside sheltered from the elements .
A lot of the ingredients (such as the Dexter beef burgers and steaks, the salads and the eggs) come from their own family farm, located just 40 minutes away.
In Autumn 2022 they will open an upstairs table service evening restaurant with organic steaks, sustainable seafood and free range chicken dishes.
Enjoyed the food in the restaurant? Browse the downstairs farm shop and pick up a pack of Drumanilra Dexter beef burgers, a bag of fresh picked salad leaves or a handmade brioche bun to recreate the experience at home.
The organic meat, vegetables and bakery selection are complemented by a range of organic store-cupboard flours, spices and cooks ingredients, organic smoked salmon, artisan cheeses, olives and charcuterie.
