Description:The Warriors Run Festival is a legendary annual race in Strandhill, Co. Sligo, where over 1,200 runners take on a gruelling route from the seafront to the Cairn on Knocknarea and back. It’s known for its electric atmosphere, challenging terrain, and stunning Atlantic views.
Runners begin on the Strandhill promenade, race through the village, ascend the rugged slopes of Knocknarea, circle the cairn of Queen Maeve, and descend back to the beach.
