Description:
The Unshin river begins as the outflow from Lough Arrow. Nearby Ballisodare, the river joins the Owenmore river where it turns into the Ballysodare river.
The river is a rich limestone river which is marked by deep weed beds.
The river doesn't have a huge quantity of trout, but it holds some nice specimen. The best time to fish the river is spring as the summer time sees a lot of weed beds blocking the river.
