By Car
First of all, we drive on the left in Sligo, same as the whole of Ireland. Main roads through county Sligo are good, backroads can be narrow, bendy or bumpy.
So in general, take your time when you drive and just relax and enjoy the countryside. A lot of areas in Sligo can only be reached by car, so in order to reach these you will need to rent a car.
