Sligo St.Patrick's Day parade
The theme of the Sligo St Patrick's parade will be “Legends Live Here”. The parade moves from Mail Coach Road to Temple Street through Adelaide Street, turns onto Wine Street, by the town hall, O'Connell street, Castle Street and ends at Teeling Street. Three whgeelchair access viewing areas will also be available, one at O'Connell Street, Quay Street and Teeling Street (Spaces limited)
But the Sligo parade is not just a one of event, it is a weekend long celebration with many events throughout the weekend.

Tubbercurry St.Patrick's Day parade

Every year on St Patrick's Day, Tubbercurry hosts the "Tubbercurry St Patrick's Day road race". With 5 and 10km distances to choose from, get competitive on the day. The 10km run acts as the start of the Sligo County Running League and is a challenging course with a total ascent of 28.81m and a maximum elevation of 102.86m.
