NUTRITION FIT is your one stop shop for all things related to Nutrition & Fitness. Alan has worked in the fitness industry for over 8 years and as a training and fitness fanatic himself,he discovered pretty quickly that its very difficult to achieve your fitness goals unless your diet is right.
He combines both Nutrition & Fitness for clients and creates personal programmes based upon the goal you want to achieve: is it targeting fat loss, muscle gain, energy increases etc.
He works with the client over a period of time to help you achieve your goal. Following is the approach:
Initial Consultation: During this consultation you will submit a food diary. The diary and your current training regime will be discussed as will your goals and what can be done to achieve them. Weight and measurements from waist,hips etc. will be taken.
2nd Consultation: Meet again a few days later and Alan will present you with your personal food and training plan.
Regular “Checkups” : You will meet every 2 weeks to check weight,body fat percentage, tape measurements again, discuss any problems that may have cropped up and make any necessary changes.

Proactive nutrition
Proactive Nutrition is a nutrition consultation business based in Sligo, providing expert advise in health and well being. We specialise in food intolerance testing, one to one consultations, sports & exercise nutrition, weight management, healthy eating plans and body composition analysis.
Deborah Sherlock is the founder of Proactive Nutrition. She holds an Honours Degree in Microbiology from NUI Galway and a Masters in Human Nutrition from the University of Ulster. She is a registered member of the Association for Nutrition (afN). Deborah has run several successful weightloss programmes to date.
