Description
Rosses Point is located in County Sligo and is a popular seaside resort with beautiful views of Knocknarea to the south and Benbulben to the north.
The village of Rosses Point is set against the backdrop of the spectacular Dartry mountain range and the beauty of Sligo Bay. There are restaurants and good accommodation, as well as friendly pubs. The bay is ideal for windsurfing and other watersports.
The beach is lifeguard patrolled during the bathing season and more information can be found on the noticeboard located at the beach.
This beach has been dual awarded, achieving the International Blue Flag and Green Coast Award status 2014

Swimming: Suitable for swimming. Safe beach for swimming, strong currents at the headland past the sailing club. (Channel between Oyster Island & Rosses point). Lifeguard present
