The new Queen Maeve Festival is taking place in Sligo on the May Bank Holiday Weekend from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th May 2024. This is a special celebration hosted by Sligo County Council for the official opening of Queen Maeve Square in Sligo town.

What to expect
The best news of all is that this events is free. It will be operated on a strictly first come, first served basis. Once Queen Maeve Square and Rockwood Parade have reached capacity, all entry points will be closed with exit allowed only. Throughout the weekend, there will be brilliant music and family fun. Headline acts are Gavin James, Moncrieff and Teada & Niamh Farrell. But that's not all, other acts will grace the stage throughout the weekend. Sligo will be the place to be for the May bank holiday.
