Sligo County Museum
Discover a large collection of exhibits detailing Sligo's rich stone age history or discover the Yeats room which is full of manuscripts, newspaper clippings detailing the life of poet William Butler Yeats.

Sligo Folk Park
Children Sligo Folk Park is located in the beautiful village of Riverstown, County Sligo. This community based attraction provides a true experience of rural life and Irish heritage at the turn of the late 19th Century.
The Folk Park is set in the grounds of the authentically restored Millview House, which was originally built in 1873 by George Reid a farmer, shoemaker and the local church sexton.
Stroll around the park and visit the wonderful museum and evocative exhibition hall which houses one of Ireland’s finest collections of rural history and agricultural artefacts.
10am to 5pm: Monday to Friday (closed Sunday & bank holidays)

Children aged 4 to 16 years €5
Family of 4: €25.00
* Children under 4 are free
**Children under four are not included when calculating the family rate. There is a charge of €5 for every additional child between the age of four and sixteen years.
Spanish Armada Visitor Centre
On that fateful day back in September 1588, three Spanish Armada ships wrecked of Streedagh beach. Discover the history of the Spanish Armada and the fate of the sailors onboard the three ships which wrecked at Streedagh beach with the loss of many lives.
