Ocean Warrior Summer Camp
The popular Ocean Warrior summer Surf Camp will be on again Each day begins at our meeting point at Seamus' surf van beside Voya Seaweed baths where parents are asked to sign in and help their child into their wetsuit and surf boots for the day.Their structured five day camp offer an accessible introduction to the ABC's of surfing, water safety and ocean awareness.
Participants will learn to surf and a lot more in a safe, fun, structured environment. All surf camps are personally supervised by Sligo Surf Experience head coach Seamus Mc Goldrick.
Surfing is a great way to build a young person's confidence and their understanding of the ocean. The camp is designed to bring out the inner Ocean Warrior in every participant regardless of ability with the help and expert guidance of Seamus and his friendly and engaging team of instructors.
The aim of the Ocean Warrior surf camp is to change attitudes and behaviors towards the water and ensure that each student leaves with a lifelong respect and awareness of the ocean and essential water safety knowledge. The program aims to develop confidence and social skills while creating a new sporting interest.
The camp motto is: 'Respect All, Fear None, Have Fun.'
