How to get there:
The Caves of Keash are located in Keshcorran mountain. From Ballymote, take the R295 towards Boyle. The caves are well signposted from Ballymote and can't be missed. At Keash, turn left at the new playground and park the car nearby the hall and church.
Ample car park area
From the car park, follow the well signposted trail towards the caves. The first 2 km is on country roads, then cross into the field and follow the trail towards the mountain (As you go across private land, respect the land and make sure you leave gates closed)
Probably some of Ireland's most striking caves as they are located in the limestone rockface of Keshcorran. During archeology work, bones from bears, wolves,... were found. But that is not all, artefacts and human remains were also found. Some of the caves are up to 100m in depth
