Description
Hazelwood is a fantastic forest for it's mature trees and the views across the lake. The trail is very flat and lends itself perfect for a quick evening or morning stroll or run. Along the route are nature arrows explaining specifics about trees or views.
The start of the trail along the lake is very level, but once you turn around the headland, it becomes a bit rougher with roots and stones. When the trail turns back to the car park away from the lake, the walk becomes wide and very flat.
The walk is suitable for prams with the exception of a few small sections, but these can be easily bypassed
