Where Thomas Connolly's heritage pub was first licensed in 1861, its history goes as far back as 1780 when a smaller pub was established in Holborn Street. At the time, the Markievicz Road end of the pub was originally living quarters.
These days, Thomas Connolly is best known for their warm welcome, their famous pint of stout, regular live music and relaxing atmosphere.
