Description:
The Bunduff River is approx. 20 km in length and runs from Glenade valley towards Donegal bay where it runs on the border between co. Leitrim/co. Sligo.
It is a prolific salmon river, especially the last 5km of the river. The river reaches the sea at approx. 4 km from Bundoran.
A lovely trail starts at the bridge where the N15 crosses the river and follows the edge of the river towards the coast.

Kayaking
Grade: 2 to 3 . Gentle class 2 to 3 rapids with a 3 meter drop at the end. There is a kayak ban between May and the end of September because of the fishing
Scouting sections: The section after the bridge contains 3 drops which are easy to navigate.The river has some flat sections as well.The main drop is worth scouting, but a deep plunge pool is at the bottom of the fall. .
