Description:Ballygawley Music Festival is a 3-night music festival which takes place in Ballygawley Village, Co Sligo.
Ballygawley village is a small village situated beneath Slieve Daeane. Close by the village is beautiful Union Wood and Ballygawley lake where you can have a picnic, go for a forest walk or admire the many swans. The annual festival was founded in 2019 when in its first year managed to attract 1800 people. Since that first year, the festival has grown into a large festival which attracts great artists and large crowds. The festival is run by a group of energetic volunteers from the community with support from many sponsors. The aim of the event is to host a unique and diverse music event annually (over 18s) with any proceeds from the event going back into the development of the community park. Following on from the successful 2022 and 2023 festival, the 2024 festival promises to be even bigger. The festival will run from the 19th to 21st July and where the full line-up of artists still have to be confirmed, artists like Johnny Brady, Derek Ryan and Lisa McHugh have already been confirmed. |
